In 2010, we opened a new SPoT Shop on 7th Avenue in Ybor City. It's at 1327 East 7th Avenue next to The Bricks. The phone number is (813) 247-1214. Check photos here.

The Course

In 1993, Brian Schaefer started Skatepark of Tampa. 20 years later, he's going on a tour of all the facilities for you.

Rates

Membership Rates

  • Monday - Thursday: $4
  • Friday - Sunday: $5
  • Annual Membership: $40. Includes:
    • Free Session with purchase of Membership
    • Membership Appreciation Day: First Monday of every month
      • All Members skate free that day
      • 15% off everything in the Shop that day (not valid with any other offer)
      • 25% off everything in the Snack Bar that day
    • Refer a friend for Membership and get two free sessions

Non-Membership Rates

  • Monday - Thursday: $8
  • Friday - Sunday: $10
  • Last hour of every session is always half price

Additional Information

  • You must have a signed or notarized waiver on file to skate. If you're under 18 and your parent is not with you, the waiver must be NOTARIZED!
  • Inline/BMX/Scooters and all other non-skateboarding participants must wear helmets ages 17 and under
  • Girls skate free except for Sunday morning session
  • Girls Session first Monday of every month from 6pm to close
  • Old Guys' Session every Tuesday night from 5:30pm to close (25 and over skate for $3)
  • Military/Police/Firefighters/Paramedics skate for Membership Rates
  • Skate Camp - check out our current schedule for dates
  • We rent skateboards and all safety equipment - credit card deposit required
  • All inclusive birthday parties starting at $189 for a party of 10 (email info@skateparkoftampa.com)
  • Skate free on your birthday with valid id
  • Group rates for groups over 15 people (call in advance)
  • Private SPoT rental - $250 for a three hour session
  • Free session with A's and B's (original report card from the most recent grading period must be present)
  • Private skateboard lessons (email info@skateparkoftampa.com)
  • 12 and Under skateboard lessons every Sunday from 9am to 10am (12 and Under only - each lesson is $20 and free skating until 10pm)

BMX Information

  • BMX Welcome everyday on the vert ramp
  • BMX Sessions are Sunday 7pm - 10pm and all day Wednesday

Waiver

A waiver is required for EVERYONE. If you're under 18 and your parent is not with you, the waiver must be NOTARIZED! The waiver is a pdf file that can be viewed using the free Adobe Acrobat viewer. Click here if you need to download it.

A Brief History Lesson on SPoT

THE BRICKS AND SPoT SHOP IN YBOR

In 2010, we opened a new SPoT Shop on 7th Avenue in Ybor City and The Bricks, our bar and cafe. It's our own backyard and we are in love with this place that we built with our own hands. In our Field Ops feature we explain Skatepark of Tampa and what we're about, along with a little bit on our bar/cafe in Ybor, The Bricks, and our new Shop next door. 93 'til infinity.
