On Sunday at 1:30pm, Tampa Mayor Pam Iorio will be downtown cutting a ribbon to open Curtis Hixon park where they built a playground for all the avid playgrounders and children you find downtown. Stop by with your skateboard and show the mayor what really should have been built. See you there for a $43 million game of SKATE an maybe more. Who knows.

The final clean up is going on today and tomorrow.

First hurricane this summer is claiming those trees.
A wide view of the Park and the art museum opening next month. That building is Skypoint where I dwell.
Who's got Tampa's biggest firecracker down this set?
Grown man rail.
Corner stairs.
This will be the most heavily used public resource in Tampa.

Who put those marks there? The ground sucks, the ledges aren't so great either. I'm sure they'll be capped by the time you get there anyway.
Those cracks in this tall manny ledge are pretty wide.
Those three stair sets remind of Bryan Herman. That's the new art museum opening up next month.

And that's the sunset on Twiggs Street a couple blocks away. Stop by Curtis Hixon Park on Sunday for the Mayor's ribbon cutting and show them there should have been a place for skateboarders here, not a dumb ass playground where kids don't live or go.
