If you weren’t at the SPoT Ybor and the Bricks 3-year anniversary party you missed out on a damn good time. We brought in the Instaramp and took over the back alley of The Bricks. There was some amazing skating, a photo show, and tons of good times. Big thanks to our sponsors Vans, PBR, and everyone who made this event happen.
On our way to downtown, Andrew and I stopped by SPoTYbor sidewalk sale which was a hit all day.
Snapped this photo of Andrew downtown while we were filming for his SPoT On. Check the site Saturday for the video.
We got back to the bricks right when the Instaramp crew finished squeezing the ramp into this back alley. That’s Andrew with a back tail.
Andrew does it all! He killed it in the streets, announced the contest, and got some on the ramp.
Stephen Oliveira from Focus Skate mag, the Noel twins, Kass Plummer, and some other homies made the drive out from Melbourne.
Uncle Sam with a casual 5-0 across the gap.
The crowd started pouring in.
Jared Currey took a break from the SPoT Ybor sidewalk sale to check out the ramp.
Not sure how Jake Welch aka Poptart got his nickname but there is no question that he destroyed the ramp.
Shop manager Tom Mckessy was hyped.
Jimmy The Greek was hanging out all night.
Poptart was bouncing off the wall all night before deciding to take it up a notch.
Andrew and Casey announcing the mini ramp and photo contest results.
Good crew right here. Seamus, Andrea, Alex, and Rosie.
Aaron Austin with two lovely ladies.
This is James Heredia with one of his photos in the show. He made it out from Miami.
Nick Nicks took home first place and a $300 Vans gift certificate for his photos.
HiDefJoe took over the camera for some party photos. Cheers to 3 years!
Ian Gow is back in Tampa and is The Bricks newest employee.
Pause for some lovely ladies.
HiDefJoe and Wife Heather.
Sabrina was pouring your drinks all night.
Duffy and one of the hardest working dudes I know, Casey Wayne.
Poptart and friends. Orlando posse rolling deep.
The Bricks Squad!
A huge part of the nights success goes out to these guys, George from Instaramp and Seamus from PBR.
Local filmer Stephen Buggica making a late night appearance. Be on the look out for Shaqueefa mix tape vol.2.
The work is over and its time to party. Jared and the Instaramp homies get down on some much needed PBR's.
Everyone had their uniforms on for this group photo, even the Ed Templeton impostor, Kyle Randall.
Thanks to all our sponsors and everyone who made this event possible. I hope to see everyone out there next year.
