Girl X (Red) Collab Releases For World Aids Awareness Day

Today is December 1st, 2016. It also happens to be World AIDS Awareness Day, a day in which we honor the continual efforts to end AIDS. The (RED) Organization was founded in 2006 to help get businesses and brands involved with their products to fundraise for HIV medication. This year we teamed up with our longtime friends at GIRL Skateboards, a proud partner of (PRODUCT) RED to join the fight against the deadly virus.

With the artistic skills of Lance Mountain, GIRL took the iconic Thrasher cover from November 2003 of Rick McCrank and Sir Lance Mountain blasting over each other poolside and turned it into a "One-Off" deck release for this special day. For every purchase of one of these limited (GIRL)RED Rick McCrank Decks, $7 will go to the Global Fund to fight AIDS with (RED), which can provide more than 23 days of lifesaving HIV medication.
