Tampa Pro 2019 - Know Your Pros (Former Winners)

Posted on Monday, February 11, 2019 by Chris

If you follow skateboarding, you know that new Pros are popping up left and right...there's probably someone turning Pro right now, as you read this. With the 25th Annual Tampa Pro right around the corner, it's good to have a cheat sheet in case you bump into one of them and don't know who they are. Here are 5 previous winners that are already signed up to skate.

Jagger Eaton - Winner 2018

Most of you probably remember last year's Tampa Pro winner, not only for this flawless run, but because he was just barely Pro when it happened.

Louie Lopez - Winner 2017

Louie came in as a fresh new Pro in 2014 and even made it to the Semis, placing 21st. Then he came back in 2015 and placed 11th in the Semis, just one spot away from making the Finals. We didn't see him in 2016, but the following year he came back and brought down the house, taking first place over two-time Tampa Pro winner Luan Oliveira.

Shane O'Neill - Winner 2016

For a while there, it seemed like the Flip Team had all the Tampa Pro winners pre-picked. Shane was one of them and when he took his runs, people payed attention. Half the time the judges were scratching their heads trying to figure out what trick he just did.

Torey Pudwill - Winner 2012

So many memorable moments this year - Lil Wayne skating, an appearance by Harmony Korine, Schaefer tattooing, Mike V crowd surfing...it's easy to get lost in it all. That's where Torey came in and reminded everyone why they were there in the first place, with a flawless Tampa Pro run that earned him his first win.

Greg Lutzka - Winner 2012

...and we'll end it with the only Pro to win 3 in a row: Greg Lutzka. Greg's a machine. He comes back almost every year and enters, still skating like a boss. Let's see if he can go for #4.
