Coverage From the 2nd Annual Vans Girls Skate Clinic

Last Saturday we brought together some local female rippers, along with special guests Fabiana Delfino, Beatrice Domond, Una Farrar and Breana Geering (all part of the Vans Skate Team) to help coach and give out some free prizes. The turnout was even better than expected and everyone was stoked. A massive THANK YOU goes out to Vans for providing free food, products and for bringing their team out. If you missed out, don't forget that we hold a Vans Girls Meetup / Skate Session on the last Saturday of every month. Girls skate FREE and it's a great place to meet other skaters, get some free food / product, and talk about all the tricks you've been learning.

Breana Geering manuals across the Manny Pad while the Boards for Bros volunteers are hard at work.

Sam is one the best skaters I know, so it makes sense that he should also be a great skate teacher.

We were psyched to welcome Beatrice Domond back to Tampa as well. She’s actually from South Florida so its not her first time here.

The Vans ladies getting busy with some arts and crafts.
Annette & Syd were hanging out and selling raffle tickets, with the money going directly to Tomo, who was injured skating in the SF Bay Area and is dealing with some very serious injuries.
Plenty of chances to win rad gear in the raffle.
Boards For
The Boards for Bros tent had another Board Build going on, and they gave away more than 40 completes to girls in need of new gear.

Una aka Lil Tubsy was here with Vans, seen here teaching a young lady how to assemble a complete.

Ahh its Madison, Marley & Grace. All rippers that are dealing with some leg injuries at the moment. Heal up soon ladies!

At the end of the day, each of the girls on the Vans Team gave away a brand new deck to a young lady that they were hyped on. Congratulations to the winners and thanks to the Vans Team for making this event amazing as usual.
