The last time I wore Pumas and fat laces, I was making Run DMC mix tapes, recording off the radio, and breakdancing in my pre-skate days. Got a pair from @joeybrezinski yesterday and feeling nostalgic. @hidefjoe is thinking about all this IASC skateboard bid'niss that just went down today. We are digesting it all over sauce before skating in a bit.

Out here snapping over these California picnic tables from flat the long way. No bigs, literally, ha. This was a prop from the Koston 2 release that had mini golf obstacles modeled after legit skate spots. Thanks @ch1ckenl1vers for the photo.

Seneca, a #SPoTLife fan who I just met, moved to Portland two days ago from St Loius. He already has friends thanks to skateboarding. Reminds me of how I grew up with Air Force parents moving every two years. It wasn't that bad after I started skating since I had instant friends in every town. Good to see that hasn't changed.

Homie I just met in ATL @gonzthedog has been skating for 15 years and gave it up on learning 360 flips. This skate rat was done by the artist that did the Garbage Pail Kids. Do me a favor and follow @gonzthedog so he can get to 500 followers and not get a "fork Instagram" tat. Thanks!

Here's to all the little filmer and photo kids documenting everything in skateboarding and one day growing up to be the ones that share everything that goes on from the streets to the parks. Ya'll remind me of myself as a kid embarrassing my friends by filming everything on my VHS cam, making rap vidoes, fake commercials, and of course skate videos. I'm glad the internet didn't exist back then. Keep killing it, baby nerds #spotlife
