Pro's Battle It Out in the First-Ever Skateboarding Team Contest

Pitting Goofy Foot Riders Against Regular Foot Riders

WHAT:           Etnies is proud to present The Goofy versus Regular (GvR) of Skateboarding, a team competition based on skateboarding stance - unlike any other contest in history!  GvR will bring together the world's very best professional skaters grouped by stance to compete as a team in the first and only event to reveal which stance is better - Goofy Foot or Regular Foot!  Sanctioned by the World Cup of Skateboarding.

Goofy Foot (right foot forward) or Regular Foot (left foot forward).

12,000 people expected to attend throughout the weekend.

WHY:              Since the dawn of time, man has, by natural individual instinct, been either left-handed or right-handed, left brained or right-brained - goofy or regular.  That's right, goofy or regular!  From the moment the first skateboard was ever stepped on, the left foot or right foot was placed first, debuting the birth of stance.

Though all skateboarders were created equal, an age-old unspoken question remains:  Which stance is better?  It's time to find out!

The Skateboard Mag and Skateboarder Magazine are co-presenting with etnies.  etnies thanks its generous partners SoBe, Epitaph, Fuel TV and the City of Lake Forest.
