Another hot & humid summer day in Florida, but it was special because we hosted the Andale’ Bearing's Wheelie Dope manual contest. It’s not everybody’s cup of tea, but that’s what made this event so special.
Our main guy for all things construction, the King of Ybor (Allen Russel), built us two brand spankin’ new manual pads just for this contest.
Alejandro Burnell, Justin Zaragoza, and Chuckie Wooder; the young rippers here in Tampa.
Victor Souza was cruising around outside properly doing a Texas Plant in a Texas Flag T shirt… and he’s even from Texas. Pride, much?
This is Danny from Connecticut; it was his first time at Skatepark of Tampa. He had a great attitude and was stoked to be having a great time filming!
A look at these trophies! 1st place best trick and a 1st place overall skater. Thanks Andalé!
Andalé sent us a rad piñata to smash up after the contest. Things got a little sketchy when Schaefer tried to string it up.
Marse Farmer has been working with us for a couple months now, and if you don’t know he seriously kills it on a skateboard. Tail slide Bigspin up on over the manual pad for practice.
Someone must have not told Jereme Knibbs that you have to manual to win… full speed Ollie over.
People were crowded up on the deck for practice, but playtime was over. Time for the showdown!
Dylan Rodriguez has got his equilibrium on lock. Stone solid nose manual shuv to manual.
Small obstacles usually mean that you’re going run into someone, but you can’t get your panties in a bunch! Uncle Sam and Robby hug it out.
Robby Kirkland is known for his skills on two wheels. Kickflip manual to bluntslide down the bank.
Uncle Sam is the most creative skater we’ve ever met (besides Daewon Song). He rips everything in sight. For example, this backside tail nose manual shuv.
Jonathan Conde had the illest shirt on of the day, and plenty of manual skill too! Manual Revert to get things started.
Eric was murdering it. Nollie half-cab flip switch manual revert. This is a prime example of how he took the win.

The Judges doing some last minute tallying!
The Andalé bearing piñata. Arrrriiiba!
We tried to have people do a manual while trying to break the piñata, but things got a little sketchy.
Instead it was thrown down, smashed, and rummaged through. Shirts, bearings, and candy for all!
Brian Schaefer celebrating another successful event. Great job everyone!
The winners and their hard earned rewards! Congratulations boys.
Jonathan Conde won the best trick award with this fakie bigflip manual revert.
Eric Weingart took home 1st overall. That sure looks like a proud girlfriend right there! Way to go, Eric.
