I've spent the last two days at this conference about all the bid'niss stuff that goes on behind the scenes in the sketchy skateboard industry. I can't believe how lucky I am to be around all this stuff as an aging skateboarder. I'm nerding out and fanning out left and right.

It's been way too long since a nerd out on numbers post, so let's dive into some digits. I was interested in how the ages of skaters has looked over the years. What would you guess? Are skaters generally younger these days than ten years ago or are they older or both? Let's take a look starting with 2004.

Hip hop artist Lil Wayne and his Cash Money empire announced today their further expansion into skateboarding with the closing of a deal with Skatepark of Tampa to acquire a majority ownership in the long standing skateboard facility.

When we landed at LAX, it was 1am our time. It was a two hour drive to Mike Mo's house where we arrived and went straight to the local bar in his little hometown of Simi Valley, The Arena. What a scene.

Justin and I got the opportunity to head to NYC a few weeks ago for Agenda. Colin found out and wanted to meet us up there for some work and good times, too. We flew in an entire day early to skate around and experience the City life.
