Wit-E here with a quick review on the Nike SB "Valentine's Day" Dunk low. I am writing this review in the same manner much of you fellas are out copping gifts for your ladies; last minute. These Dunks are made up of a combination of cracked leather and suede. The cracked leather reminds me of the Roller Derby Dunks from a few years ago. The toe cap, side panel, and heel are all white cracked leather. The accents on the shoe are university red suede which has a very weird feel to it. I can't think of anything similar to compare the texture to. If you brush it one way it feels soft and brushing it the other way feels very rough and stiff. It has a weathered feel to it which goes along nicely with the cracked leather. The suede also features a pattern on it which reminds me of the MIA Dunks. It's a swirl type design that looks like blood flowing. The liner, laces, outsole, tongue piping, and Nike heel branding are all a slightly different hue of red than the suede but the box label has them all labeled as university red. They come with an extra set of laces that are white and feature a white insole and white midsole, along with a white nylon tongue. Overall: a very clean pair, I don't see any flaws. These go on sale at noon inside SPoT Ybor along with a super fresh Nike SB Cupid shirt to match. Since I am on the subject of matching, please don't let me see any of you couples out there rocking matching kicks for Valentine's Day, that shit's corny!
