The Paul Rodriguez 5 LR is a low-cut skate shoe with perforated suede uppers for ventilation, padded collars and tongues, and a one piece toe cap. They also incorporate a durable and flexible rubber vulcanized outsole and a drop-in midsole. Another awesome feature with the P-Rod 5 LR is the Lunarlon insoles that come with them. Lunarlon insoles are 30% lighter than the normally used Phylon foam and was originally used only in Nike running shoes. But since crossing over into skateboarding, Lunarlon technology allows every kick, push, and impact landing to be absorbed as if the surface you were on was as soft as a marshmallow.
