It is the first skate shoe made with Lunarlon through the entire midsole. It is also the first skateboarding shoe to utilize Flywire which is a Nike technology that is designed to lock your foot into the footbed of the shoe. The upper is consisted of a new Hyperscreen material that is more durable than suede, but is much more lightweight. There is also a layer of printed rubber along the most high abrasion areas on the toe cap for a longer lasting shoe and a better flick.
