Good Bye 2005... Post at Skatepark of Tampa

Good Bye 2005...

2005 is now part of the good old days. Check out some of the more entertaining stuff from the last year on Skatepark of Tampa.com: Back in January, Nyjah Huston killed it at Tampa Am. If it wasn't for his amazing run, relatively unknown Florida local Sean Conover would have had quite a career boost. He got second in both the Street Contest and the Best Trick Contest. In February, Nate Sherwood told us why he won't fly. In March, Dennis Busenitz won Tampa Pro and Josh Lehman almost died in a blow'd up car in front of the Park. It was also announced that Paul Rodriguez was leaving Girl. In April, Lizard King entertained all at Phoenix Am. In May, Rob Dyrdek's Skate Plaza was nearly completed. In June, Dylan Rieder won the Minneapolis Damn Am. In July, Nyjah Huston killed it again and won the K.R.3.A.M. Am In Puerto Rico. In August, I was the lurker by myself at the Baker 3 Premiere and Clements and I went to that extremist contest for the first time. In September, the Vans Downtown Showdown was swept by the Toy Machine team. In October, the correct foot forward won it at the Etnies Goofy vs. Regular Contest and the contest trick of the year went down at Damn Am at Volcom - Terell Robinson's gap 360 flip board slide. After that, everyone forgot that Tyler Hendley actually won the Contest. In November, a good time as usual was had by all at the 9th Annual Texas Skate Jam. In December, we had another SPoT Ghetto Christmas Party. Thanks for the good times. Let's do it all over again in 2006.
