Since one of the most exciting events of the year was moved to an uneventful side show at that one billionare contest at the carnival, there is no Pro/Am Game of SKATE at ASR this year. Lame. However, SPoTlight will be running the Automatic Magazine's Battle of the Shops this weekend at ASR on September 6. It will be ripping skating of a different kind on four different types of obstacles with shop teams that send their best guys in. It's full for registration, but you're welcome to come watch or you can check out the coverage here after I sober up.
