When was the last time you heard someone under 60 use the term "sex appeal?" Porpe threw it out on the story he wrote for ASR and Battle of the Shops. Check it out along with my sub-standard photography and silly caption banter: ASR & Battle of the Shops – September 2008.

A bunch of other places did a much more professional job on the coverage. Maybe I could do it like that, but professional is not my goal here. Check it: 1: Skateboard.com. Click on it, go to lunch, maybe it will be done loading when you get back. 2: Tacky World Mini-Ramp footage. Click on it, watch Schaefer's egg plant go down. Also witness someone besides Andy Mac riding an Andy Mac board. Wow. 3: Tacky World BOTS footage. Click on it, see how many tricks Tim Thomas did. 4: Boardistan.com. It's rare that I add a link to my "daily reading" folder. This is the first one in a long time. Wish I had time to report and discuss news like that.
