Tampa's New Living Room is Missing Something

The City of Tampa is opening up Curtis Hixon park this weekend in downtown Tampa. Officer Doofy had to issue 143,333 skateboard tickets at $300 each to come up with the $43 million it took to build this thing. Check it out in the photo below. They're attempting to make our downtown like a normal city. Nice. There's also a playground. Not nice. A playground? I live downtown across the street from this park and the only time I've ever seen kids downtown is when they're on skateboards. There aren't even kids in this entire 32 story building I live in. When Curtis Hixon park opens up this weekend, let's show them what they should have built instead of a stupid ass see-saw and swingset. The grand opening is this Sunday at 2pm. Come get a skateboard ticket with me, play a game of SKATE on some $43 million flat-ground, and shoot some photos. See you there.
