Tax Free Week at SPoT

August 13th to 15th is this thing the Florida gub'ment calls "Sales Tax Holiday." Basically, they are telling stores that there isn't sales tax on certain categories of stuff.
Since I didn't design our point of sale system where you can just turn off sales tax for certain categories, we are instead simply discounting everything in those categories by 7%, which effectively is the price of the item without sales tax. If you live out of state where there is no sales tax, you simply get a 7% discount bonus. The Florida State gub'ment sure has made this Sales Tax Holiday a complicated accounting problem.
