SPoT X Lance Mountain 20 Year Dunk Low Shoe

You can always count on SPoT homie Wit-E Beats for a strong opinion on a shoe. I gave him the sample for the SPoT X Lance Mountain 20 Year Dunk Low Shoe. He's got a full rundown for you along with a bunch of photos of the shoe: SPoT X Lance Mountain 20 Year Dunk Low Shoe Review.

Nike SB Dunk High McRad Review

Most of my favorite Nike SB releases have an interesting background story, and the February Quickstrike Dunk is a great one: Nike SB Dunk High McRad Review.

Dunk High Doernbecher Writeup

Last year when the latest Doernbecher project was announced and I saw that an SB Dunk was included, I began wondering whether or not they would be available through any SB retailers, or if they would only be available directly through Nike as were all previous releases. When they dropped November 30th, it seemed they would be sold exclusively through Nike and we here at SPoT didn't anticipate receiving any pairs. So you can imagine how surprised we were last week when we received a shipment of these sneakers with an amazing story behind them: Nike Dunk High Doernbecher at SPoT.

Dunk High Sean Cliver Krampus Review

This past Saturday at SanctSHOEary we unveiled an upcoming Nike SB Dunk High that is rumored to be the Quickstrike for December. Designed by the multi-talented Sean Cliver and inspired by the legend of Krampus, these kix are definitely eye catching. Check the full review and lots more photos: Nike SB Dunk High Sean Cliver Krampus Review.

October 2012 Nike SB Dunk Review

With four releases, October is going to be a good month for Nike SB Dunk fans. My favorite of the bunch, the Thunder Dunk Low, was initially slated to release in August, but got delayed for some reason and just came in. They remind me of the Pro B Lightning Dunks from 2001 and feature some really nice suede uppers. With no hype surrounding the Thunders, people should be able to get them easily. Camo Janoski Re-Stock

We now have the Nike Camo Janoski shoes in stock at SPoT Ybor. These kix are all one-of-a-kind because the camo print is unique on each pair, just like they did with the Winos. The Lowland "ERDL" Woodland camouflage that Nike SB has recently used for a few different products is all over these sneakers, along with a black embroidered swoosh. They come with black round laces and an extra pair of army green (iguana) flat laces. They do include a white midsole, which seems to be a bit out of place to me. I would have preferred something like a brown, black, or gum color to match the camo print better, but the kix are still fresh, and they’re available in sizes 7 - 13 right now at SPoT Ybor.

PS: We still have no updated info on the Levi’s Dunks, other than they are "coming soon."

Staple in Stock Now

We here at SPoT are excited to announce that we now carry the brand Staple Design, and for those who don't know, Jeff Ng aka Jeff Staple, is the mind behind the designs. Jeff is an iconic figure in the streetwear industry and has worked in collaboration with many big name companies, most notably Nike. He is the man behind the NY Pigeon SB Dunk, which created a riot when they released at Reed Space in 2005. News of the sneaker release and riot made the front page of the New York Post and brought a substantial amount of attention to the sneaker community. Jeff Staple is so well respected, he was recently asked by Complex to compile a list of the 50 most influential people in sneaker history. He’s got a great eye for design and pays attention to quality and detail. You can be positive that any Staple Design product you purchase will be worth the money you spend.

Pushead's New Shoe

Frequently asked questions about the Nike SB Pushead 2 Dunk on the way:
  • Do you know much it will be?
  • Know how many you're getting in?
  • Know when they will get here?
  • Do you have ANY info at all on them?
Frequently given answer to all of the above questions: No.

Man, sorry information is so scarce on these. We do have a sample pair in the building right now though and Wit E Beats got his hands on it and has this review for you: Nike SB Pushead 2 Dunk. It's been 7 years since the release of the first Nike SB x Pushead collaboration. For those of you who don't know, Pushead is an artist, record label owner, and writer within the hardcore punk and heavy metal scenes. I would also like to point out the name is Pushead, not Push Head as I have recently seen people using. This new release (Coming Soon) is referred to as the Pushead 2 or "Bleached". It consists of a patent leather heel panel similar to the first release, with suede and dyed canvas making up the rest of the sneaker. Continue reading: Nike SB Pushead 2 Dunk.
