Word up,
2 quick questions:
Why are Bones Ceramics sooo expensive?
And why can't I find the video The End anywhere?

Thanks
Jak

My response:

Dear Jak,

Bones Swiss Ceramics and all other ceramic bearings are pricey because the ceramic (100% High Silicon Nitride) that is used for the tiny balls is much harder and more expensive compared to traditional materials like steel or stainless steel. I ride the Bones Swiss Ceramics and they are by far the best bearings I have ever skated. Ceramics are extremely quick and don't need as much maintenance as other bearings. My Ceramics are over a year old and haven't been cleaned once, and they are as fast as ever. All bearings tend to get dirty and need to be cleaned and then lubricated. Lubricated bearings attract more dirt and need cleaned more often. However, the ceramics need less lube because they have less corrosive parts. Less lube equals less dirt. Overall, they are long-lasting, fast, light, and easy to maintain.
Here are a few more features of Bones Swiss Ceramics:
  • Removable High Speed Nylon Ball Cage
  • Removable Non-Contact Frictionless Rubber Shield
  • Lubricated With Low Viscosity Bones Speed Cream

THE END video by Birdhouse is no longer for sale. I don't have all the details, but I know it's something to the effect of, they didn't get all the copy rights for some of the music in the video, so they had to pull it off the market. I guess that's THE END of that.

Thanks for your questions.

Sincerely,

Barak Wiser
