Urban Renewal

The crusty cityscape of Tampa has produced some memorable and unique spots over the years. Some spots come ready to skate, while some require a little modification. Over the last few weeks I've been keeping my skate pursuits pretty urban, so I'd like to present to you Urban Renewal.

Jacob Krajewski and I hit the Busch Ditch in North Tampa one bright day and Jacob took to the DIY quarter-pipe with ease. Front rock.

Jereme Knibbs loves a good porch spot, so when he showed me this one in the hood of Tampa I knew he had something good. Ollie.

This was a high risk operation, skating this government building in Downtown Tampa. It was a weekend afternoon, which is usually a pretty good time to skate such spots, but right after I shot this my info was taken and I was forbidden from returning.

Jacob Krajewski loves a good bank spot. He got tech at the Ghetto Banks with a fakie ollie switch 5-0 to fakie.

Devon Shipe wanted to skate this high bust spot in the Port of Tampa a few weeks ago on a Thursday morning. We left when we were good and ready, which was after he landed this crooks.

Robbie Kirkland nails a back 180 nosegrind without a cloud in the sky.

Robbie Kirkland has a flick and catch like few other. Another weekday Port spot, this time the Port's headquarters building. We were escorted off of this property as well.
