Planes, trains, weird coffee, pushing through the streets, the Copenhagen Skatepark, and soccer madness on day one of Copenhagen Pro. Today, I am stuck all day doing registration at the park. Copenhagen Pro starts tomorrow and will be live on the web at dvsshoes.com.

Matt Beach and Shane O'Neill are here!

DJ Wade took us straight to some pizza place.
Most bad ass bicycle ever.
Every room in the Fox Hotel we're staying at is different. Mine is Green Room.
Hiking it down the streets with our luggage from the train station to the hotel while skirts on bikes breeze by.
Fruit stands are everywhere.
The trains have a silent car. No talking allowed unless you're Brian Schaefer.
Our US credit cards don't work in most places unless you have this PIN code thing for it. ATM cash is necessary here.

Coffee on the train.

The patio at The Fox Hotel.
Even all the doors to the rooms are different.
A rare photo of DJ Wade skating.

Schaefer always makes sure to recruit locals to the Contest and give them the full breakdown of what's happening. I love the wacky Euro gear.

Smoking is still glamorous here, unlike at The Berrics.
American girls, don't be scared of skirts on bikes. See here.
We got lost in the streets for a bit.
DJ Wade rolls with the sauce.

Clint Peterson and Jason Rothmeyer are judging this weekend.

First stop is this public park that's falling apart but of course still super fun.
Lookin' like Skatepark of Tampa in 93.
Of course you're going to get a pivot to fakie.

I guess this is for the inliners.
Another rare photo of DJ Wade skating, or the aftermath of DJ Wade skating.

Copenhagen family truckster.
Now we're at the Copenhagen Skatepark. Thanks to DVS for backing this shindig.
Serious detail goes into the Park every year here.
How quick does your hotfoot pop out have to be on this one?
Manholes on the street course.
Recognize this spot?
Nothing is skateable yet, so an 80s game of SKATE went down on the small stair set.

The nosepick is a classic.

Not a position you usually see Jason Rothmeyer in.

Ryan Clements looks much more natural grabbing on a curb.

The beautiful tile work is going to get destroyed this weekend.
Now we're back to getting lost in the streets.
We should all be so bold and push the boundaries of our fashion limits like they do.
Central Station.
Another family truckster.
Tech sweat shorts. Wowwww.
After skating, it's time for a few of these.
Down the street, the Denmark soccer game is on in town center. It's impossible to get in there.
People were using anything you could climb onto to see.
People were using anything you could climb onto to see.
The scene inside that 7-11 is nuts.
Carlsberg suitcases for sale.
Nobody likes this guy right now. Denmark is playing Japan in the soccer game.
Fans.
Random strangers asking me to take their photo. Who's that dude kissing up on Elissa?
Thin pancakes for sale.
They lost, people are bummed.
