Nerdsday Thursday: Top Brands Among Our Top Skateboarders

This week on Nerdsday Thursday, I'm continuing to look at the top 50 skateboarders here at SPoT based on sessions skated. Their average age is 19 with a handful well into the 30's such as locals like Scott Bentley. Now, I'm looking at what they're buying. Below are pie charts showing the breakdown between brands in a few selected categories.

Not too many surprises in these breakdowns. The real surprise was in the actual numbers beind these percentages. The top 50 customers so far this year collectively have only purchased less than 100 decks. Are they buying their decks elsewhere, or are they riding them for longer? Or, is our staff not properly ringing up sales under their customer account? Hmm, I'll save that analysis for another week and also remind the staff to use customer accounts anytime they can when selling things, which they should already be doing.
