Random Todd Bratrud Art Hanging In The Hallways

Posted on Monday, November 7, 2016 by Chris

Young or old, if you ride a skateboard, you should know the name Todd Bratrud. In a nutshell, Todd has been one of the most recognizable names in skateboard art / graphics for a while, dating back to 2006. He's had a hand in designing products for (deep breath) Nike SB, Volcom, Familia Skateshop, Clout Magazine, Creature Skateboards, Consolidated, KCDC Skateshop, his own companies: The High Five and Send Help skateboards, and Skatepark of Tampa...among many others. We hired Todd again this year to do our graphics for Tampa Am and Tampa Pro (2017) because he's sort of a household name around here. In fact, just walking through the upstairs offices, I found that a lot of the artwork hanging on the walls was done by Brat. Check out some photos I got of that stuff (in case you don't know who he is), and then come check out his art show during Tampa Am on Friday, November 11 at The Bricks. Full details for the show are right here.
Every year, we give out awards to the people that killed it for the Damn Am series. Here's a plaque that Todd did the artwork for in 2009.
Board graphic from the now defunct Consolidated Skateboards.
Another Consolidated graphic.
Detail of one of the Familia Skateshop Smurf Deck series. This one is Todd's personal graphic and if you know what he looks like, this will make total sense.
Here's the full series in all its glory. My personal favorite.
Last but not least, here's a deck that was made for Tampa Pro 2007. He also did the poster art that year for De La Soul, who played the after party. You can see that one and a bunch of other stuff he's done at the art show.
