The gang is all here! Locals and out of towners catching up on the deck before going all in at Harvest Jam 2022
Brandon Reed kicking things off with a front blunt to fakie across the pyramid rail.
Shiloh Catori, one of the newest editions to the SPoT team, hits the kink rail replacement with a front 50
Hey wait... this guy is on the SPoT team now too! What's up Gabi! Back 50-50
I think this might be the best part of a front late shuv that you can capture. The twist before it looks like you're falling. Either way - Hunter George has them on lock.
Our friends at Ultra Slappy Wax setup in the courtyard and provided wax for the prize packs. As always - thanks for supporting SPoT over the years!
Marble Orchard brought a heft squad and setup in the courtyard to show support. Thanks for coming out guys!
Enzo Bustamente kicks off the 8 & Under division with a front 180 off the top deck
Brandon Reed flying through with a front feeble in between divisions.
St. Pete local Braydon Santos ollies the new bump to bar for the 9 to 12 squad
One of my favorite photos from the day. I've shot this photo of Messiah a few times over the years but this is his best kickflip to date. His style is really developing!
13 to 15 division kicks it up a notch. Fredrik Shawn Albrekt front board down the rail.
Jordan Clark backs up Frederik with a front board.
Jordan comes back for the kickflip into the front board on the bump to rail
Mile Godbold is a fun kid to watch. Tre flip down the four block
Jack McCullough with a steezy ollie over the new favorite obstacle
Local Nick Fry is the opposite of fried. He is tweakin...this ollie over the bump to bar!
Look at all of the homies that showed up for the contest! Harvest Jam has to be my favorite All Ages Contest of the year.
Brandon Reed with a flawless run. Front Feeble down the rail and into 1st place of the 13-15 division
Crook shuv from Frederik to close out the 13-15 group!
It's the return of Brooke McIntosh. Every time Brook shows up she skates the course back and forth with a smile on her face followed by a run ending cartwheel. Thanks for bringing the good vibes Brooke!
Karis is actually a terminator. She broke her arm a few weeks ago, had staples, cast removed, and was back on her board two weeks after the break. She is nuts and brings the stoke!
It's not a contest without support from our non-profit Boards for Bros. Thanks for holding it down Michael!
Wait here is another photo of Brooke making everyone smile again
We had a ton of new faces at the contest this year. Thanks for coming out Marchieta!
Every time I see a gold helmet on the kahuna I know Taylor Burnett is about to bring the heat. Full speed ollie down the four block from Taylor landing her in second place in the Women's Division
Our girl Shiloh with a bump to front board for the crowd.
I'm 90% sure that Shiloh learn back crooks in the middle of her run. It paid off - first overall in the Women's Division to end the year out with a bang!
D has the best smile and is super supportive of the ladies. So stoked that she has been coming to the park regularly and participating in all ages events. Great seeing you D!!
Gigi bringing her infamous early grab over the coping
Cute dog in the courtyard. Time for some midday awards!
Shoutout to all of our sponsors for hooking up everyone with promo!
Congratulations to Mohamed Somerville for taking 1st overall in the 8 & Under division!
We gave out our end of the year awards and Michelle Tancos took MOTY (Mom of the Year). She was out of town for the contest but luckily Josh was there to accept on her behalf.
Karis got Hall of Meat since she is such a badass!
Josh and his mother Michelle have been super supportive of Boards for Bros the past few years. Congratulations to Josh for being our Jr. Bromander!
Messiah killed it! First overall in 9-12 Division
Brandon Reed was destroying every obstacle on the course. Well deserved first overall in the 13-15 Division.
Shiloh strikes again. 1st in the Women's Division.
Shiloh killed it all year - 1st OVERALL 2022 in the Women's Division
Mason didn't leave empty handed. His 2022 performance landed him 1st overall in the 8 & Under division
Back to the some skating! Marcus Caseria brings the pressure with the pressure flip down the 4 block to start 16-29 Division.
Parents came out for this one. The heat was bearable and we had food in the courtyard. Little food goes a long way!
Marcus delivers a back smith down the hubba.
Most people would bail when someone is skating right next to the rail but Marcus wasn't playing around. Front Feeble
Owen Bennett mid-run backside flip perfection
Marble Orchard family photo in the courtyard
ATL was out here representing! Jaden back smith right in front of the judges stand.
Jaden had the best flow out there. This heelflip was amazing
I'd have this look on my face if I saw a board on the ground at the bottom of a circle rail. Reese still pulled off this top to bottom back 50 no problem.
Yo dad let me see my clips!
Front blunt perfection from 16-29 Division winner Salvador Figueroa
Yo SPoT Team rider Rolo came by!
Woody, Caleb, and Liam were holding it down on the grill to make sure we the people were fed - the people were definitely fed!
Shawn Koi is the man behind Ultra Slappy and a long time supporter of SPoT. Thanks for coming out Shawn!
Beau Haines got this one in after his run. Front 180 from the top deck into the bank.
Full House isn't just a TV show. It's also what goes down at SPoT when people are stoked about an All Ages contest!
SPoT team rider Gabi with a crook on the bank to rail.
Jake Brenier is one of the funniest kids I have met at these contests. I am stoked to watch him progress. His attitude is going to take him far. Front smith bank to rail
Jake following up the smith with a bank feeble down the 4 block.
Another new addition to the SPoT Team: Myles Booker backlip for the judges
Dylan LaBrake is the 4th addition to the SPoT team and is the ultimate G. Ollie north over the bump to bar with ease
D back at it again with that infectious smile on the deck
Our boy Jack Loktu came out! If you've bought something from SPoT over the last 5 years this is the guy checking it all in. Thanks Jack! <3
Mikey Premet tre flip over the bump to bar. Front foot catch with some glow from the flash. Goosebumps!
I love how the shadow from the hat makes this heelflip extra mysterious. It was definitely no mystery that Xavier Ramos handled the business on this one.
Our boy Jack recently got engaged to his fiance Faith. They're an amazing couple and we couldn't be more stoked for them!! Love you guys!
Alex Vestal is a gangster. He just started working at SPoT and is a swiss army knife of a human being. Here he is playing the judges role
This is usually VIP section for Am/Pro. Someone get these guys outta here!
Parker Leonard dropped by with the Motor Lobby crew. What up Parker!
Alright, alright. Back to our regularly scheduled programming. 30 & Up crew decided to switch to jam format. Elvin Ramos back board across the pyramid.
Jeremy Leyva showed up with a whole squad from St. Pete and sold Motor Lobby tees in the courtyard. Thanks for bringing the family out!
We switched the 30 & Up over to jam format to make it less stressful and the guys had way more fun. Rocco came out the gate with a backsmith off the quarter into the bank.
Rocco is an all around ATV. How you going to backsmith a wall and then bump to 50 on a circle rail. Madness
I underexposed the hell out of this photo but whatever. Back tail around the corner from Rocco
Rocco attempted to drop in on a wall next to the judges stand. You read that correctly - Rocco attempted to drop in on a wall next to the judges stand.
Elvin Ramos went from backboarding to putting on flip flops in like 5 second. Look at those toes
Anthony Biggs has a really good front crook. It's awesome to see that ledge back on the ground and not on the pyramid.
Bump to hump from Anthony
Anthony almost did crook fakie on the wall near our online order room. Still a sick photo. He rolled away with a contest make
Judges stand photo so we know who we are dealing with!
Stiv showed up and sabotaged Tim for 3 minutes straight. It was amazing
Stiv checking in with some friends he hasn't seen in a minute.
Tim
Stiv couldn't stop Tim from the tre flip on the hip.
Another wide shot showing that crowd for the Sponsored division.
Josh Wilson is head judge and rightfully so, he made an excellent judgment call on owning this dog.
Jackie boy roasting Chase for being Chase
Atom Blanford repping Boards for Bros and Anchor Skate Supply Kickflip front board on the bump to rail
Atom backside flip on the hip for the judges
Jake Brenier textbook front feeble
Our friend Connor Lerian came down from Jacksonville reppin' Sunrise Surf Shop and breezing through the course like nothin'. Back 180 over the rail.
Connor is also an ATV. Gap over the channel frontside with no grab. Nutty!
I love the angle on this 50-50 showing how Gabi is hitting a rail that is almost as tall as he is.
Gabi full cab flip in the limelight over the hip.
Myles Booker kickflip over the bump to bar to kick off his jam.
Noah Nagaro back overcrook on the bump to rail.
Matt Savidakis just having fun with it. Ollie north tail grab. Is that what that is called? Please don't kill me for misnaming tricks.
Always stoked to see Camden Mashore come to town. Front blunts on lock
Dylan was the only person to hippie jump the bump to bar all day. I loved it and so did everyone else.
Dylan catching LaBreak after his run
This is a hard trick to get a photo of but it can't go undocumented. Back 3 from SPoT team rider Keenan Lewis
Keenan followed up by fellow team rider Wes Box with a pop shuv it
Keenan back crooking from top to bottom. Kinks, no kinks, whatever it doesn't matter he is going to crook on through it!
Another SPoT team rider in the building - Kris Clayton back hurricane down the rail.
First time I shot a contest with Ricky Reis skating. You know someone is really good at skating when the basics look like this. Back crook on the ledge
Followed by a fully pinched back 5-0 down the rail.
Westside crew all skated the same jam and went IN on the bump to bar. Mikey Premet kickflip with that backfoot catch. Woo!
Mikey's kickflip followed up by Eric Weingart doing it...switch
Last, but not least, the man Matthew McCauley with the most insane tre flip catch ever.
Here goes Eric skating switch again. Switch back tail down the hubba. Pretty sure that he is actually regular and fooling us all!!!
Jake Malick bringing malice to the rail with a structured front feeble.
Noah Pollard is a straight killer. This dude already has ads in Thrasher with Deathwish. Back overcrook for the judges
Backside flip from Noah
Noah from another mother. Noah Nagaro follows up Noah Pollard with a front feeble
Noah Nagaro kickflip into a backside lipslide
Almost missed this one - but stoked with how it turned out. Wes Box noseblunt.
Noah takes his kickflip back lip to the judges. Worth it!
Another backside flip from Noah Pollard. Down the 4 block this time.
Time for some awards! Shout out to Stratosphere and the ATL crew for coming through!
Congratulations to Beau Haines for crushing it all year in the 16-29 division.
Rocco is the manager of the retail shop and the manager of the 30 & Up division. His performance all year managed to secure him 1st overall!
You already know Noah held it down for the sponsored division this year!
Gabi showing support for the homies. Front row seat for the awards!
Salvador Figueroa wasn't in the building to claim 1st but he definitely won it!
Rocco all smiles with the 30 & Up crown
Wes Box took 1st place. Who switched these awards around!
That's a wrap. Here's some product in ya face Clint!
