FLOWBOARD PRESS RELEASE
THE FLOWBOARD, TAKING EXTREME TO THE MAINSTREAM
“ ESPN and X-Games teamed up with Flowlab to introduce the 1st FLOWBOARDING exhibition at the 10th Annual X-Games this summer, August 5-8th at the Staples center in L.A.”

Flowboarding is a brand new hybrid sport that combines the action of surfing, wakeboarding, and snowboarding on concrete. The Flowboard has the patented “Deep Carve System” which puts seven inline wheels on two opposite-end arced truck sets that allows you to carve turns that are so tight your toes will drag, and still bust all your favorite skateboard tricks.

Additionally, Flowlab has licensed the X-Games brand to exclusively produce X-GAMES FLOWBOARDS as well as other exciting, patented products from Flowlab to be introduced at retailers nationwide starting in November 2004.

FLOWBOARDING demo’s were held on the virtual street course at the Staples center by pro Flowboarders: Bobby Rodriques, Willy Delgato , and Noah Dimit, to introduce them to the hottest new extreme sport in decades. During the demos Flowboards were given to random spectators watching the Flowbord demo.

ESPN and FLOWLAB will also seek to establish a summer tour starting in 2005 combined with other X-GAMES licensee’s to promote skateboarding, and Flowboarding competitions nationwide.

The Flowboard has only been available to avid board riders and extreme sports enthusiasts at a retail price of over $159.99. Now, Flowlab has reengineered the Flowboard without sacrificing quality to make it available to the masses at a starting retail price of $59.99. Anyone who can ride a skateboard, scooter, snowboard, or a bike can ride a FLOWBOARD.

To view a sneak preview of the proposed downhill Flowboarding course, scheduled to be built in 2005 please contact Kevin Krause. The evolution of Extreme Sports starts and finishes with the FLOWBOARD.

THE FLOWBOARD WILL BE THE HOTTEST GIFT ITEM OF THIS HOLIDAY AND BEYOND. AVAILABLE AT MOST MAJOR SPORTING GOOD CHAINS AND SPECIALTY RETAIL. CHECK OUT WWW.FLOWLAB.COM FOR MORE INFO OR CALL/800-503-9432.
