Arrival in Rotterdam 2009

We're here for the Rotterdam Grand Prix of Skateboarding presented by Vans in association with SPoTlight Productions going on this weekend.

 The course is all downhill. Right now it's Friday before the Contest and the rain clouds are closing in. We'll see how it goes tomorrow |
 There are lots of brick on this side of the world. Great spots with rough ground. Better than no spots, though |
 It's about a six block skate from our hotel to the Contest site. It's fun unless you have an 80 pound backpack |

 I really need to do something about my weirdo eating habits. Most normal people would enjoy the food here. I look at it and almost puke. Good thing it was only $56 a person for this sketchy stuff here and a small chicken dinner. That's Monika and Miriam with us - they're the ones who hired SPoTlight Productions to run this shindig.
