These are Frequently Asked Questions related to the Concrete JAMdemic. For any additional questions, please email info@concretejamdemic.com
- Is this free?
- Yes, this is a free-to-enter digital contest.
- Who can enter?
- Anyone.
- How do I know if I’m entered?
- You will receive a like AND a confirmation comment on your post saying “Thanks for posting your run for the Concrete JAMdemic.?? This is your official entry confirmation. We’ll take it from here. Our (soon-to-be-announced) all-star judging panel will pick the 30 best runs to be featured on the Semi-Finals broadcast on April 12. Stay tuned to the hashtag or head over to ConcreteJAMdemic.com for news and updates. Good luck!”
- Can I submit more than one run?
- No. We want to see your best run, so we’re only accepting one run per skater.
- Can I speed up or edit out the parts where I’m not doing tricks even though it’s one continuous video?
- No. One minute in real time is all you get so get as many tricks in as possible.
- What if I don’t have an Instagram account?
- You can submit a link to your video using our Non-Instagram Entry Form HERE.
- What if my Instagram account is not public?
- We will not be able to see your video and it will not be scored. You can submit a link to your video using our Non-Instagram Entry Form HERE.
- What if there is a conflict of interest with my sponsors?
- You can post your video for the world to see without tagging Converse, but you will also have to submit a link to your video using our Non-Instagram Entry Form HERE.
- What if there is music playing in the background?
- That is okay but if it creates a copyright issue on our end your video may get muted or may not be featured.
- What if I submitted a run but want to replace it with a better run?
- Once we’ve commented on your run it's logged and you cannot replace it.
- What if I don’t have any concrete skateparks around me?
- Sorry this contest is for concrete/cement transition skating only.
- Does all transition count?
- If it’s cement or concrete or a real pool it will most likely count. But if there’s a gray area you can email us at info@concretejamdemic.com and we’ll tell you.
