Here are some photos I shot during our four hour Monday night where 146 people came down to PJ Castellano winning it again this year.

There are two places where you can clearly see how well someone has the basics of skateboarding down: on the trannys and on the flats. Today, we saw it all on the flatground. I just met Jamiah Johnson today. I used to do this trick way too much in the early 90's. I wonder if it's ever coming back. I'm trying to get back into using my flash. That's Yonnie on a nollie backside flip over the hip.
Skater Profile: Yonnie Cruz Jereme Knibbs has a great looking Cab. Not many people do them with a little tweak like that. You can't even fake this, unlike those yo-flips.
Skater Profile: Jereme Knibbs Thanks to Gatorade for supplying the drinks that were sold. All of the proceeds went to Grind for Life. Antonius Johnson is Jamiah's brother. They're both learning the basics right how. This is a kickflip. Seems like a lot more people care about a Game of SKATE than any other demo we've had in a long time. PJ Castellano has a mixture of high snaps stuff like this nollie flip...
Skater Profile: PJ Castellano ...to this crop dusting weirdness. The combo of the two put him in 1st.
Skater Profile: PJ Castellano A much better version of the roshambo is cockroach, foot, nuclear bomb. If you run the Groucho Marx disguise, maybe you can go twice in the Contest. This is George of the FSEC. Markus Jalaber was in the Finals missing pressure flips. I think this was a kickflip.
Skater Profile: Markus Jalaber Watch for Joe Pelham's footage soon. Thanks to everyone who came out for a late Monday night.
Skater Profile: PJ Castellano PJ Castellano hiked his pants and pressure flipped his way to 1st in the 2010 eS Game of SKATE at SPoT. You're allowed one circus type trick per game like that so he brought out the elephants and tigers. Watch for coverage and footage from Joe Pelham coming up soon. You can check out some cell phone photos of the early results on the SPoT Facebook page.
