Mr. Nice Guy

A short story of how Schaefer gave some random chick in the airport a hundred bucks...

By Rob Meronek

Schaefer and I are always talking about how we're "too Mr. Nice Guy" with people at times which causes a bit of people taking advantage of us every now and then. When we were in the airport in Australia, Schaefer left to go exchange some currency while we waited in line. When he came back, the first words out of his mouth were, "I just gave $100 to some random chick." We all got a good laugh out of that when he told us the story of how this woman approached him with some kind of sob story asking to borrow a hundred bucks, assuring him she would pay him back somehow. Mr. Nice Guy gave her a hundo and his business card. We all thought he got taken like a test, and a few of us placed $100 bets that he'd never hear from this lady ever again. Well, today, Schaefer got the email below. Yes, she's hot.

Subject: Thank you so much Brian- You rock!

BRIAN, . Thank you so incredibly much for bailing me out that day. You are so generous, kind and trusting- SUCH AN ANGEL.

Please tell me how to get that 100 US back to you, or where in the world you would like to crash on my couch! I will be in Europe most of summer, but usually live between Tokyo, Sydney and Auckland....Otherwise please forward me your bank details or where I can possibly post you a cheque.

Thank you so very, very much. I look forward to repaying the favor to you soon.

That 100 dollars meant so much more than 100 to me- and you've helped restore my faith in humanity.

Love, light, health, happiness and all the very best,

Sam : )
