One of the highlights of 2017 at SPoT was the A.skate Autism Friendly Skateboarding Clinic we hosted in September. Over 75 special guests and their families had a day full of fun, friends, and skateboarding. A.skate Founder, Crys Worley was here and thanks to our nonprofit, Boards for Bros, all the new skaters who needed equipment got to take home skateboards and helmets and everything for the day was free!
We are thrilled to be doing it all over again on Saturday, September 8, 2018. We will have food, art, skateboarding equipment and tons of awesome volunteer instructors on hand to give the families a day to remember. Check out askate.org for more information on what they do and for links to upcoming registrations.
