Everyone was star struck by Daewon showing up. That's a switch smith for the gawkers. Sorry my photos are so terrible. I did not put in the effort today.

Sure, it's just a back blunt, but it's Daewon Song. Click to enlarge.

All I got was two sequences of Daewon Song. It was tough to shoot with the Park so crowded, plus I got caught up just simply watching in amazement. Click to enlarge.

It looked like I was going to get some good stuff of Daewon in the bowl, but then...

...he got swamped by a line of kids getting autographs and was sort of trapped for while. I hope everyone got to meet him. He's one of the nicest guys you'll every run into.

This random guy won Tony Hawk's Twitter Hunt that was going on at the same time as the Contest.
I don't have any photos of the first few divisions because I was babysitting our new scoring system I wrote for the iPad. Today was my first test run with it. This is the 8 and Under Division. As usual, they wear their helmets all day even when not skating like it's a hat.
That's Willie Wilson 360 flipping.

The iPad scoring system also eliminates paper for the announcer. They will have much more dirt on you to talk crap with during the jam such as your prior contest history, my behind the scenes notes on you, your photos on the site, any mag coverage you have, the score you need to make the cut, etc. If I could make everything in life digital, I would.

Devin Bagnoli - frontside flip. See you next month at Damn Am Atlanta!
