Bobby Puleo is one of those dudes that you either love, or hate. I know because every time I mention that the little guy with the T-rex arms is one of my favorites, it elicits either excited agreement, or a look that could be best described as total disgust followed by “Puleo?! He sucks!” But he doesn’t. He rules. He’s got that one of a kind, low-center-of-gravity thing going, an unmatched eye for hidden spots, and the quickest of feet. And if you think east coast skateboarding would be what it is without him, you’re wrong. He’s a pioneer who I still think belonged in that TWS list of the 30 most influential skateboarders. If you disagree, I’ll be happy to debate it over a few beers with you some day as long as you’re buying. On a side note, the part ruined Bobby and Josh Stewart’s friendship, but for me it was worth it. - Paul Zitzer
