Cliché, gone!?!? I don’t know what to make of the news, but I do know that Cliché and Jeremie Daclin made France cool, and 2003’s Bon Appetit was maybe their best work. The video was a French Fred production and it offered a few particularly choice parts, but one of its more unsung heroes turned out to be Cale Nuske. He was an Australian named after an American stock car driver that everyone thought was French, and he casually killed it. Still does maybe? While his mojo was cut short by one too many knee blowouts, this part is something he’ll always be able to hang his hat on. A cool style, great spots, really really difficult tricks, and a perfect soundtrack make this one well worth tossing back to. Repose en paix Cliché.
