In my opinion, one of the craziest things about skateboarding is how a lot of video parts have their quality dictated by one trick; the last trick. Often times, it doesn’t matter how good the rest of the part is, how long (or little time) the rider spent filming the part, or any other factors—we judge a part based on the last trick, the banger—or maybe that’s just the clip that sticks with us the most? Whatever it might be, Chaz Ortiz wrapped up his 2016 Zoo York ‘Metropolis’ part with a banger that’ll stand the tests of time.
