#TBT Matt Beach Can't Stop

Matt Beach was one of those skaters that could do pretty much anything he wanted to do on his skateboard. Whether it was ledges, gaps, handrails, or transition, you name it and he’d kill it. That’s rare these days, but when Beach was at the top of his game it was even more so. My guess is the only reason he doesn’t have “legend status” along with a boatload of endorsements and a pro shoe still is because he put his energy into ripping on his own terms instead of marketing himself or playing industry games. A headband, tight pants, full sleeves, or something along those lines might have been all it took to keep him around, but that wouldn’t have been Matt Beach then, would it? Either way, Matt’s part from 2003’s Can’t Stop gives you a pretty good look at how well rounded and amazing he really was, and for all I know still might be.
