The last few weeks prior to heading to China were pretty hectic.

The last few weeks prior to heading to China were pretty hectic. I had a lot of Skatepark and SPoTlight duties to attend to. First it was Orlando for a day, then off to Charlotte the next week, and finally to CA for a few days after that. Then I was home only a few days before taking the trip to China, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

This is the site of Red Bull Manny Mania Orlando that's coming up in June. It's going to be held at City Walk, on the opposite side of the pond as Hard Rock.
Later that day I was back in Tampa for a tattoo appointment.

From the tattoo appointment, I rode back to Ybor to meet up with Schaefer.

This is what it looks like when you're trying to get the community to back your liquor license for The Bricks.
My camera died the morning I went to Charlotte, so there are no pics from there. Here we are at Santa Clarita Skate Park, about 45 minutes from LAX, where we ran into Matt Ball. Matt saw that this kid needed a new skateboard, so he gave him the one he was riding. My man.

Santa Clarita is giant and pretty fun. There are no rules and during the middle of the day on a school day we practically had the place to ourselves.
The reason for the trip to CA? We headed out to Woodward West for the IASC (International Association of Skateboard Companies) yearly Summit. There I am talking on the Amateur Skateboarding Panel.
My brain hurt from thinking so much for those three days that I had to stick with the coffee and avoid the free beer.
I think it was in the 30's each morning and we woke up to these mini-snowballs accumulating on the cars.
If he ain't eating, he's answering emails. That's how Mike Sinclair does it.

Barak Wiser got a high five for attending and speaking on the Retailer Panel.

There were so many rabbits all over Camp that I honestly thought we were going to be served rabbit for dinner one of the nights.
We drove around Tehachapi and found this amazing view at the end of a cul-de-sac. Sorry for the artsy pose. That was an accident.
Before leaving we snuck in a session on the mini with Professor Schmitt.
