Mammoth Lakes in California is a serious intake of Mother Nature. I saw my first bear in real life, chased down a flock of Road Runners, saw the biggest jack rabbit ever, slept under a sky with more stars than a planetarium, and had serious ruckus in the woods burning everything that wasn't nailed down in a giant campfire, all with a large crew of my best friends.
