Rob Meronek's 8th Grade Report Card
I was forced to attend a Catholic school in 8th grade, which is why I still mock organized religion to this day. You can tell by my straight D's in that class what my attitude was. Same thing with History. Phys Ed was cool, though. Straight A's due to me being soccer champ (this was a few years before I started skating). Way back then, I actually figured out that I like this computer thing - after a little while I went from C's to A's before the end of the year (that's the one marked "Comp. Lit." for Computer Literature). How does the oriental kid end up getting straight C's in Math? That's jacked. My problem areas of "respect for property" and "keeps desk neat" still exist to this day. Bottom line: I may not be able to find France on a map and I barely know the history of the world prior to 1990, but I'm getting by just fine as a grown up who got bad grades as a kid. It's not as important as many people think, I think. But then again, that depends on what you want to do if you grow up. I still don't know.
