New York has the same paranoid and uptight rules as California when it comes to smoking. I haven't been smoking much lately, but when you're in a bar that has a no smoking rule, it just makes me want to create a smoking section in there just because. Don't be afraid to light up inside. Either no one says anything or you get a very polite request to put it out if you act dumb
