I think Thursday night is one of the best nights of the contest. No one's burnt out, too hung over, etc. and you're pretty hyped to skate and hang with all your out of town friends becuase the weekend has just kicked off and everyone's just starting to get into town. There was an amazing bowl session going on while the Fabrek Art Show was going on right next to it in Transitions Art Gallery. Some photos from the night are below. It's 11pm right now and I just saw Ryan Clements walk out the door calling it a night. I think I'll skip the Ybor party tornado tonight also. I could use the rest for the big Team Manager/Industry VIP Contest tomorrow. I hope to be skating against a bunch of hung over old dudes so when I bail every trick in my run, I don't end up in DFL. Oh wait, I'm the one who enters the scores, so that's not going to happen.

Billy Rohan is ripping by day and partying by night. Hell yeah |
Ryan Clements of course was in the bowl jam mix |
Will Mullady and his military friend, Eric Horner, got into a punching match. As you can see by the top photo, Will's leaning like the tower of Pisa after getting his punch served, but on the return, he doesn't really have the same impact |
Mike Peterson's backside boneless is one of the crazier stunts that have gone down on that bowl ledge |
Part of the scene inside the art show |
Chris Lehman is about to punish the coping with a hard and loud tail smack |
Chris Haslam salutes Carlos De Andrade's huge frontside floater over the hip |
Can you believe Chris Haslam rode away from this Andrect? |
I don't know how they pulled this off in the middle of a crazy snake session, but Chris Lehman and Jay "Dark Jay" Varnadore executed this back smith/frontside 50-50 double thing perfectly |
Mike Derewenko's work in the art show |
So if every trick John Comer does is with one foot, is this one foot ollie a no foot? |
Chaz Pineda hitchhikes his way around the bowl corner |
A 360 flip is super hard on tranny. Carlos De Andrade has them wired |
If you need lessons on how to hop out of a front blunt, ask Kyle Berard. Most people don't do frontside ollies that look as good as Kyle's front blunt |
