TBT - Javier Mendizabal, Europa

During the 1990s and 2000s transition skating was a novelty. You might not be considered relevant or even really that great of a skater if tranny was your forte. There were always the holdouts that made it work though, people like Cardiel, Tony T, Al P, and Hewitt. Javier Mendizabal was another one, a rare Euro who excelled at riding the curves. And while the selection of transitions in Spain doesn’t look too be all that user friendly, Javi made it work like a champ. He also does a beautiful backside noseblunt on a bench at speed, so there’s that. This is another part that shows why Cliché should still be around.
