#TBT Neil Blender G&S Footage

Pretty sure this part was filmed off a TV, but either way we’re taking it back to 1990 with Neil Blender from G&S Footage, a pivotal piece of skate video’s history. G&S by the way is the company that spawned Alien Workshop. You’ll notice the similarities between this and Workshop videos including the Dyrdek part and Dinosaur Jr. tracks. Neil’s part offers a prime example of shred that he makes look like nothing, along with his award winning personality, brilliantly packaged up by video mastermind Mike Hill. Personal favorite moments include Neil’s skate graphic commentary, his sidewinder Andrecht over the spine, the Macho Tail Drop, and Trainwreck. This part is chock full of greatness and if you quote any of Neil’s lines to the old dudes at the skatepark you’ll win them over for life, even if you’re a whittler.
