If you weren’t skating in 1995, Eastern Exposure III might look to you like just another in a long line of East Coast videos, chock full of dudes keeping it pretty basic. But looks can be deceiving. Eastern Exposure is THE East Coast video, and it offered a watershed moment in skateboarding that perfectly encapsuled, for the first time really, the essence of what East Coast skating could be, an approach that has now spread all over the world. Dan Wolfe was a pioneer and he put his heart, soul, and a million good ideas into the creation of the video (like making it black and white for example). Ricky Oyola had last part with 6 minutes that cemented his place as the most influential and well-loved skater from the East for all eternity. Somebody should make a documentary about Ricky…as long as that somebody is Dan Wolfe. - Paul Zitzer
