In 2002 (2003?), I won a year subscription to Big Brother magazine as part of a fundraiser / raffle that SPoT was involved with, and I was stoked. I remember each issue showing up the mail every month, and laughing my ass off at the interviews, articles and photos all tied together with Dave Carnie and Chris Nieratko's writing. It was great. If you're too young to remember Big Brother, take a look at Jenkem mag, King Shit, Fucking Awesome, Jackass... all these names would not be around without it. Started in 1992 by Steve Rocco (of World Industries fame) as a way to run his "too-offensive-for-other-mags" ads, BB was a lot like skateboarding back in those days: the Wild West. Anything goes.
