ABOUT
SPoT is proud to announce the 12th Annual Clash of the Crews Presented by Vans, the epic shop versus shop team battle.
Teams are composed of four skaters from each invited shop, [including one pro if you got it like that], PLUS an optional TM or shop owner to make it a five person crew. Shop teams will skate together in a jam with the top 3 individual scores averaged for the total score of the shop. The top four crews advance to the finals to duke it out for a $2000 prize purse.
In addition to the street contest, shops will select riders to compete in 3 other events: Indoor Bowl Jam, Street Best Trick, and Death Race. Only one team will claim the Clash of the Crews 2025 title and bring victory home for their shop. Good luck!

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Invitation Only: Clash of the Crews is invite only. Invites will be sent to 25 shops selected by Vans.
- Commitment Deadline: Invited shops must confirm their participation by January 1, 2025.
CREW REQUIREMENTS
- Eligibility: Crews without a retail or online shop must be well-established for at least one year, with a presence such as a website, skatepark, or branded merchandise (e.g., shirts) to be considered.
- Wait List: Approved crews and shops will be placed on our wait list.
- Crew Admission: If the shop limit isn't reached by January 1st, crews will be added in the order their emails were received. If an invited shop drops out, the next shop in line will be selected to fill their spot.
CONTEST FORMAT
TEAM STREET CONTEST
Each team to skate in one 3-minute jam
The top four teams advance to skate in 3-minute head-to-head elimination jams to determine the winner
ELIMINATION JAMS
- Round 1
- 1st place battles 4th place
- Round 2
- 2nd battles 3rd
- Score average determines 3rd & 4th place
- Round 3
- Winners of 1st & 2nd rounds battle
PRIZE MONEY
- Purse $3,000
- 1st Place - $1,500
- 2nd Place - $750
- 3rd Place - $500
- 4th Place - $250
STREET BEST TRICK CONTEST
Each shop picks their best trickster to clash on the Best Trick trick obstacle for 30 minutes - $250 for the winner
DEATH RACE
3 - 4 skater races that zig and zag all around the park, good for laughs and slams, and possibly death itself - $250 for the winner
BOWL JAM
Each shop picks their best transition skater to clash in the Bowl for 30 minutes - $250 for the winner
SCHEDULE
- 12:00pm - Doors Open - Practice and registration
- Free skating for contestants (free skating is permitted all week and the week after)
- 6:00pm - Vans Death Race on Pro Course
- 3 - 4 skaters per race
- Elimination format until 3 skaters are left for a final race
- $250 - 1st place
- 7:00pm - Vans Indoor Bowl Jam
- Each shop picks their best transition skater to clash in the Bowl
- 30 minute jam

- Each skater gets a score, average of top 3 highest scores give you your crew's score
