Somehow since the early 90's, vert seems to have left the difficulty of the lip and taken to the air. Maybe the mainstreaming of skateboarding and the television audience circus-like appeal of humans launching in the air played a part? Who knows or cares, but take a look back to 1991 when Mike Frazier was doing half cab blunt backside 360 out on vert. Where are the new Mike Fraziers?
