Colin Clark's Footage

The height without the bar was about 25 inches. It was amazing to see how many people have big snaps to do tricks over it like Torey Pudwill. This is just a kickflip, but he was also making hardflips over it.

Felix got some serious cheers on his part in the Famous video premiere after the Contest. He's killing it at our ripe old age. I wonder what P-Rod will be skating like when he's up there with us.

No real judging is needed for this one, but Jason Rothmeyer was in charge of keeping things organized, keeping track of makes and number of tries, and more. That's Sammy Baptista with him.
I can't remember who this is. Who dat? You're not even looking at the ollie anyway. Update: It's Jace Cimabue

Mr. Sackoff was a good sport about Schaefer's use of his name over the mic.

Dylan Perry capped out at 40 inches in the Qualifiers and didn't make the cut to the Finals. That makes for a care free party night, which he and Porpe definitely had.

Rothmeyer's checklist.
No cut, no worries. We all enjoyed open bar and open air on top of Las Vegas at the After-Party.

Of course there's your standard weirdos. The back of this dude's shirt said, "Need Investors."
Two Worlds one Cup.

Porpe came up big over the weekend. He's hooked on Vegas for life now.

Dave from Thrasher knows how to get drunk for free in Vegas.
Thanks for the sound entertainment.
Looks like Garrett Hill is going to be on TMZ.

I woke to this fool at 5am passed out with beer in hand snoring so loud it felt like earthquakes. Six hours later, he was still sawing wood. Of course, I had to film it and put it on the internet.

The next day, 14 people who made the 40 inch snap went at it. Levi Brown had some good looking ollies over it.

While Porpe and I struggled with the 25 inch height minimum on the Maloof High Ollie bar, Mikey Burton comes and frontside 360's it. Damn.

My pick, Ben Ross, didn't make it for the win, but I thought you'd enjoy seeing the photo anyway. That's a big ass ollie. Ha!

This was Aldrin's 45 inch ollie that he made, but touched the bar, so therefore didn't count for the Guiness Book of World Records. He later redid it clean for the record.

The cookie cutter was baking up some high rise snaps. What's that stuff bakers put in bread to make it rise?

Maloof's hired help. A photo like this will get your account on Facebook deleted. I believe their terms of service also state that all women must have veils in their profile photo.

Luis Tolentino and the hired help. Facebook would also delete your account and stone this woman because this photo involves a woman working outside the home without a burqa.

Standard group photo.
Check out the various set-ups used by people. Looks like the super low crouching tiger style is the way to go.
Austyn Gillette didn't make it because he ate too many cookies, but it's still a great photo.

Aldrin's technique was to slightly shift a bit.
Skater Profile: Aldrin Garcia
Extra wacky photographer stance.
Congrats Aldrin on 10 large and a new world record ollie height of 45 inches.

Footage From My Phone

Wow, Aldrin snapped it clean right after that Maloof girl's back door adjustment. Congratulations to Aldrin at the Maloof High Ollie Challenge. Aldrin is 67 inches tall.
