The Billabong Canadian Damn Am Presented by XPERIA Sony Smartphone is coming back to The Beach Skatepark in Toronto, Ontario, September 7 – 8, 2012.

NEW FOR 2012! Always looking out for skateboarders’ wallets, Damn Am Canada has dropped the registration fee down to $50 USD. Registration is done through SPoT Productions. Please email rob@skateparkoftampa.com for more info.

The top 12 skaters will automatically qualify for Tampa Am, with the top two skaters getting flights and automatically placed in the Tampa Am Semi-Finals. Last year it was TJ Rogers who took home 1st and trip to Tampa Am, with 2nd place going to Will Marshall. For highlights of last year’s event, click here.

Kicking off the weekend will be the Sony Xperia High Kickflip Contest and the Team Manager/Industry VIP Contest hosted by Red Bull. There will be a cash purse handed out during the Sony Xperia High Kickflip Contest and Damn Am, with prizes and giveaways from all sponsors including XPERIA Sony Smartphones, Zumiez travel vouchers, and product from Dakine, Billabong, Skullcandy, Bones, Bones Wheels, Independent, Momentum Wheels, and Red Bull.
