For his take on the updated icon—the Campus ADV, Silas wanted to give it a softer feel and a high-end look by using premium full-grain leather. Paying tribute to a classic Campus colorway from the 90’s, he chose black on black for maximum sleekness, just adding that extra touch by adding a contrasting texture by way of the nubuck suede stripes. For the campaign Silas wanted to pair his affinity for the outdoors with his love for skateboarding, add a dash of inpso from one of his most legendary adidas teammates … and take a man v. nature approach—skating exclusively rock features in and around his hometown of Portland, OR.
